Three months of free work, and at the end one person has seen what you can do. Here is the other way: build one small real thing, post the process, put it on LinkedIn, turn it into a short video, and do it every week. The 5 steps, copy-paste templates, and a 30-day plan.

Not a startup. Not a course project. One tool that fixes one problem for people around you: a tool for your class, a website for a store, a calculator your friends keep asking for. Small is the point. Small gets finished.
I am a student in Pakistan and I want to build one small, real thing in a week that I can show publicly. Ask me 5 quick questions about my life (my uni or school, my family's work, what annoys me daily, what my friends complain about, what I already know how to do). Then give me 5 tiny project ideas. Each one must: 1. Fix one real problem for people around me. ... (tap Copy for the full text)
Nobody trusts a finished screenshot. People trust the messy middle: what you tried, what broke, how you fixed it. That is the part that shows you can actually do the work. Post it while you build, not after.
Day [N] of building [project name]. What I tried: [one line] What broke: [one line, plus a screenshot of the error] ... (tap Copy for the full text)
That is where the people who hire are: founders, recruiters, software houses. And most people there only post certificates. One real project with a real bug and a real fix already stands out.
I built [project] for [who it helps] in [X] days. The problem: [one line about the real problem]. What it does: [one line]. What broke on the way: [the hardest bug, in one line]. ... (tap Copy for the full text)
How I post on LinkedIn: text first, no link in the post itself, the link goes in the first comment. Then I reply to every comment.
A post reaches people who already follow you. A short video reaches strangers who would never open your LinkedIn. Same video, three places: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
SHORT VIDEO SHOT LIST (phone only, 30 to 45 seconds) 0-3s Hook: the problem in one line, face to camera. "My class wastes an hour finding past papers." 3-10s Screen recording: the thing working. Use your phone's built-in screen recorder. 10-20s The messy part: one bug and how you fixed it. 20-30s The result: someone using it, or a before and after. 30-40s The ask: "Comment if you want the link" or "What should I build next?" ... One post won't do anything. Twenty will. Most people stop after 3 posts because nothing happened. The ones who keep going are the ones people find. Pick a day and never miss it.
The rule: at least one post every week, for 20 weeks. Build, post, repeat. The 30-day plan below gets you started.
What to build, what to post, and where, every single day. Copy it into your notes and tick off one day at a time.

This is the exact thing I did. I started posting what I build on 30 July 2026. In under 80 days that put my work in front of 1.7 million+ views. Not because I am special, but because people could finally see the work.
Instagram 1,319,121 and YouTube 67,389 views from my account analytics, 10 Oct 2026. LinkedIn and TikTok are my own rounded-down totals.

Showing your work isn't showing off. It's how people find you.

I've been building things people pay for since I was 10. Online game servers first, then $250K+ earned in tech. Now I build with AI in public, and every free thing from my reels lands on a page like this.
